Om Swami

Bestselling author of 17 books on wellness and spirituality, translated into 20+ languages. With over 15,000 hours of meditation practice, Om Swami has demonstrated under laboratory conditions what scientists once thought impossible: sustained, measurable stillness of the brain. His work bridges the gap between time tested traditions of mindfulness and modern neuroscience.

Even though a sought after speaker, Om Swami is highly reclusive and spends most of his time in solitude.

Deepak Nair

CEO Sydney

Devoting a significant chunk of his time on causes close to his heart, Deepak Nair, a seasoned executive has made Walk The Dragon his sole mission in life. Passionate about improving employee well-being to elevate clarity, resilience, and mental performance, he firmly believes Walk The Dragon is the missing piece in enterprise wellness.

Deepak loves to read, travel with his family, and play cricket. Other times, you will find him sitting cross-legged and meditating deeply. "My real wealth is the memories I've created with my children, and I keep adding to them," he says.

Priyanka Anand

Strategic Partnerships Sydney

Leading strategic partnerships for Walk the Dragon, Priyanka Anand helps organisations adopt neuroscience-backed wellbeing systems. She also leads a global spiritual-tech foundation and has executive experience across finance, nonprofits, and the Australian Government.

When not working (which is rare), you might find Priyanka dancing with her daughter or holding a paintbrush, splashing her dreams onto a canvas. "The truth is that my work is what gives meaning to my life," she says often (usually after downing a double shot macchiato).

I've always been drawn to philosophy and psychology. My mind is naturally reflective, and I spend a lot of time noticing patterns, studying human behavior, questioning assumptions, and sitting with existential questions. Writing is a central part of that process for me, mostly in my Notion, sometimes on my blog though. It really helps bring order to thoughts, often it's only through writing that I recognize what I couldn't see clearly before.

My interest in classic art comes from the same place. I have a big book of different artists, so I pick one and go through their works. I'm less concerned with aesthetics in isolation and more interested in recurring motifs, symbolic language, and the story behind each piece, tracing ideas across time and mediums.

Film is something I'm still exploring. I like sci-fi, film noir (both classic and neo), and short films. Short films, in particular I'd like to understand more deeply, their cinematography and the ability to say so much in such a short time fascinates me. I also love spending time with books. I read mostly on my Kindle, but one of my dreams is to build a substantial home library!

The gym is a place where I spend a lot of time, it brings me calm and clears my head. I also find it rewarding to see positive changes in people's lives in real time, which is why I'd like to certify as a personal trainer in a few years.

In my work as a product designer, I value creative autonomy, authenticity, and meaningful impact. I think, not many companies in this world build truly useful products, partly because a lot of them exist as solutions to problems we've first created ourselves, which is kind of funny. What fulfills me is knowing that something I've invested so much time and energy into genuinely improves someone's life. So that's the kind of work I want to do, build a genuinely useful product, and what I'm aiming to build through Walk the Dragon.

After 8 years building software for companies like Luxury Escapes and AT&T, Kaustuva found his calling when the dragon beckoned. Now he's channelling his full-stack expertise into building an enterprise wellness platform that will change how people feel at (and about) work.

If not kicking a ball on the soccer field, Kaustuva is probably running a marathon. On rainy days, when stuck inside, you might find him reading non-fiction (particularly military history) or pushing pawns on a chessboard. "With AI, we are truly at an inflection point where we can use neuroscience to swiftly deliver breakthrough outcomes leading to peak cognitive performance," he says.

I am a 30-year-old living in Sydney, currently based in the CBD but wishing to move closer to the water. I like structuring my days around deep work in the mornings. I read fiction with passion returning often to writers like Gabriel Garcia Marquez, and enjoy re-reading a lot. I try to keep up a short fiction writing habit most weeks.

It's also a personal aim to spend more time at the beach, where I enjoy swimming laps, especially at the Coogee baths, where the water feels especially refreshing. I'm a big fan of the coastal walks there and find these walks conducive to think through whatever problems I'm encountering in my life.

In terms of my work, I'm interested in craft in all its forms - specifically how small, invisible decisions compound into something that feels inevitable. I'm drawn to environments that value taste and precision, and a pre-occupation with quality.
